The all-new XUV 3XO sets new benchmarks in the compact sport utility vehicle (C-SUV) segment, with standout design, premium interiors, a truly comfortable ride, cutting-edge technology, thrilling performance and the highest level of safety.

For this all-new model, Mahindra drew on the expertise of its global network of design studios and its large engineering hub at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai India.

Mahindra also incorporated the feedback from customers across the globe, including South Africa, in its design process. This can clearly be seen in new design features such as the black leatherette interior and the large, expansive floating 10.25” infotainment system that combines with the 10.25” digital cluster for a truly premium experience.

In India, the impact of the striking design, engineering, performance and luxury in the XUV 3XO

was evident in the demand for the new model shortly after its introduction. Indeed, in India, Mahindra dealers took over 50 000 orders for the new model in the first hour after opening for business on the launch day.

In South Africa, the XUV 3XO will be available across Mahindra’s 90 dealerships country-wide to view and test drive from 20 September 2024. Customers who want to secure their new XUV 3XO can immediately place an order and will also receive a special attractive finance offer. Sales and Customer deliveries will start from 3 October 2024.

Standout Design

The XUV 3XO introduces a bold,athletic silhouettethat commands attention.

It features a distinctive front grille and headlamp design with apiano black finishon the grille and LED headlamps, LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. Several unique wheel designs have been penned for the different XUV 3XO models, including a stylish 17” diamond-cut alloy wheel on luxury models.

At the rear, the infinity LED tail lamp, which stretches across the rear of the vehicle, emphasises the wide and stable stance of the XUV 3XO.

The first-in-segment features, like a65 W USB-C charging pointandElectronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold,are tailored for tech-savvy users seeking convenience on the go.

Adding to the list, an immersive audio experience is created through aHarman Kardon Premium Audio with a dedicated amplifier and sub-wooferthat also offers Sonic Expanse, Bass Enhancer, a nine-band equaliser and four Ambient Sound Modes.

Additionally, Level 2 ADAS with 10 features ensures enhanced driving assistance and safety measures. The XUV 3XO is powered by a turbo-petrol engine that is designed for exhilarating performance and superior efficiency.

Staying true to the brand’s legacy of offering thrilling performance, the mStallion TCMPFi turbo-petrol engine delivers 82 kW and 200 Nm of torque. The engine features new vehicle management software and intelligent turbo-charging to clock a 0-60 km/h run in 4.6s while offering exceptionally low fuel consumption.

The XUV 3XO can also be ordered with a6-speed AISIN Third Generation Automatic Transmission, renowned for its durability and reliability. The gearbox has proven itself in the XUV 700, which utilises a transmission from the same family.

The transmission offers smooth gear shifts and is optimised to deliver great fuel efficiency as well as a ‘fun to drive’ experience.

Each engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and an added option of 6-speed AISIN automatic transmission for the petrol engines.

Customers can visit their nearest Mahindra dealer from 20 September 2024 to test drive and even order their new XUV 3XO. Deliveries will start in the first week of October.

The Mahindra 3XO is sold with a 5-year / 150 000-kilometre mechanical warranty. MX models are offered with a 3-year / 55 000-kilometre service plan, and the AX models have a 5-year / 100 000-kilometre service plan.
